Mendel Cabernet Franc, 2023, Mendoza

The first Cabernet Franc in the WHW range and we’ve found a corker. From the world-renowned and highly esteemed Mendoza winery, Mendel, decades of expertise and passion for producing only the best wine means nothing is left to chance. Each part of the grape-growing and winemaking process is meticulous; from carefully irrigation of the vines using Andes meltwater, to hand-selecting each grape, to choosing the perfect barrels for maturation to strike the right balance between richness of flavour and freshness. This Cabernet Franc has an intense nose of plush red berries and raspberries with flavours of violet mingling with pink peppercorns and good, firm tannins to make it a great food wine.
