Vigneti Zabú Grillo, 2024, Sicily

Despite a winemaking tradition dating back millennia, Sicily has relatively recently attracted enterprising winemakers from the mainland of Italy and further afield. Menfi based Planeta and their peers showed the brilliance of the terroir and conditions on the island. Zabú’s vineyards were first planted in 2005 in Sambuca di Sicilia, 500 metres above sea level on limestone soils. This is gorgeous Grillo: summery, fresh and bursting with floral and citrus flavours.
