The ‘Pastora’, or shepherdess, was the first Manzanilla brand launched by Barbadillo in 1827, and then successfully resurrected in 2014 to mark their release of this, their finest style of Manzanilla. ‘Pasada’ references the amount of ageing, 8 years in this instance, while the ‘rama’, means ‘raw’, alluding to the wine being drawn straight from the cask without fining or filtration.
