Al-Muvedre Monastrell, 2024, Alicante, Spain

A brilliant example of the great wines from this rugged, arid, historical part of Spain. Made using the region’s signature red variety, Monastrell (or Mourvedre as it's also known), by ace winemaker Thelmo Rodriguez, this wine is brimming full of autumnal fruits and gentle spice on the nose, while the palate is full of juicy red and black fruit, possessing good acidity and a lengthy expressive finish.
