Domaine Papagiannakos ‘Melias’, 2025, Attiki (50cl)

‘Melias’ comes from the Greek word for honey, which nicely sums up this luscious, intense dessert wine. Made using Malagouzia grapes from a one hectare vineyard in a traditional local method known as ‘vrasto’, there are abundant aromas of candied citrus peel and dried fruit with pineapple overtones, the palate features layers of mandarin, tropical fruit and, fittingly, honey.
