Cantina Lavis Pinot Nero, 2024, Trentino

Pinot Nero, originally of French origin, is of great importance in the far north of Italy where it is used, along with that other import, Chardonnay to make stylish sparkling wines. It is a variety popular with producers for making expressive still reds too, as this wine proves. Charmingly light ruby in colour, the bouquet is full of sweet cherries and forest fruits. A fruity, delicate wine.
