Rathfinny Blanc de Noirs Brut, 2019, East Sussex

Rathfinny have been making wines for a dozen years now, from their base near Alfriston in the South Downs, 3 miles away from the Channel where only estate-grown fruit makes it into their fabulous fizz. A white sparkling made from only red grapes, Pinot Noir and Meunier, the expressive aroma displays morello cherry mingled with baked apple and hazelnut with a persistent and creamy mousse on the palate.
