Primitivo Appassimento ‘Preciso’, 2023, Puglia

Primitivo has become one of Southern Italy’s best loved varieties in recent years and is a grape that produces rich, robust juicy reds. The ‘Preciso’ is made using the passito method from grapes from the Sava region in Puglia. Cherries, raspberries and currants are complemented by a slight smokiness on the nose, while the full bodied palate features plums, damsons, and hints of raisin.
