Riesling may not be the obvious grape from Marlborough but the long, sunny growing season and cool nights make the perfect conditions for a vibrant, tropical wine. From vineyards next to the Awatere River, this Riesling displays a complex array of fruit character from green apple and lemon to a long finish of mandarin and honey with a delightful, lip-smacking acidity.
