Grapes for Château Maucoil’s wines are sourced from the vineyard’s 130 year old vines, which produce superb fruit, albeit in small quantities, which owing to the age of these vines, lend the wines a unique freshness too. Blackberries, dried fruit and coffee aromas complement a palate boasting berry fruit, savoury spice, fine tannins backed up by a reliably lengthy finish.
