Château de Beaucastel ‘Coudoulet de Beaucastel’ Blanc, 2021, Côtes-du-Rhône

A masterful blend of Bourboulenc, Marsanne and Clairette makes for a captivating Rhône white. The grapes for this wine are from a three hectare vineyard just outside the boundaries of the famous appellation within the Château de Beaucastel estate meaning this wine is essentially a Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc in all but name. Citrus zest and ginger greet the nose, while the palate is characteristically textured and full of ripe stone fruit, with a tantalising crisp acidity on the finish.
